Established in 2018, Strongman Outdoors LLC is a family owned and operated business which provides motorized options for kayaks which utilize the "fin-style" pedal drives for propulsion. We originally used the Hobie cassette plugs which allowed for water to seep inside. Because of this, we began searching for alternative measures to providing a mount that will stay secure and also water-tight.

In early 2022, we began the process of 3D printing our motor mounts. They are extremely sturdy and are completely sealed so that no water can get inside. The inner area which makes contact with the shaft of the motor has been rubberized, so that it has superior grip. The mount is made of two sides and the pegs which hold it in place are completely solid and extremely strong. We also placed holes along the sides of the mount that allow for a ruler or thin object to be passed through to push the propeller down straight.
