Introducing the newest motor design from Strongman Outdoors for the Old Town Salty kayak! This design features the 24 lb thrust Watersnake motor which weighs in at under 7 lb total. We have paired it with a 3D printed design that fits snugly into the pedal drive hole, and secured with stainless steel components. 
The motor comes with a propeller, instructions, Watersnake sticker, and the Strongman Outdoors motor mount system.
The motor mount has been separated into two parts. The front which has the motor attached, is slid forward toward the front of the kayak. The back plate is hinged for compact storage. This is pushed forward underneath the lip on the motor mount, then layed down flat to cover the entire hole. The locking mechanism is then turned to lock it into place. 
There will be some water come above the top of the mount, since it isn’t water tight, but it keeps the majority of water out.
This motor propels the Old Town Salty kayak at approximately 3.5 mph. The initial production run of these mounts have a spray on bed liner material which will give them additional durability.
